IT ISN'T HARD TO GET CLOSE TO ME, THERE WON'T BE ARGUMENTS,WE'LL ALWAYS AGREE. AND I'LL TRY TO BE KIND WHENi ask you to leave, we'll both take it easy. but if you stay too long inside my memory Chase Austyn was twisting his right hand around nervously as the other hand rested on the steering wheel of his 2008 Nissan Altima. It wasn't driving that made him nervous, god no. It was the fact that he was driving towards the fair, to meet Dakota. The two had been hanging out for a while now, but lately, Chase sensed a bit of something else there. He couldn't really put his finger on it, but whatever it was, it was making him nervous. Chase rarely felt nervous. To be honest, it was only when he was about to try a big move on his board, when the word nerves even seemed to enter his vocabulary. Oh, and when he was around Carlie. He attempted to push all thoughts of the girl out of his mind, especially with the information she had given him not too long ago about her and his brother getting together. It upset him more than it really should have, seeing as Carlie had never expressed any type of liking towards Chase, other than friendly. He had even tried flirting with her once, just for the hell of it, but she kind of ignored it and asked where Kasey had gone. Story of Chase's life. No one could go more than ten minutes talking to him without mentioning SOMETHING about his older brother. Usually, it didn't bother Chase much, he adored his brother, idolized him. But lately, the fact that Kasey had been getting everything that Chase wanted was kind of irritating him.
But, fortunately for Chase, he was now on his way to meet a nice, pretty girl who was interested in him, not his brother. He willed himself to relax, and leaned back a little in the seat of his car, plugging his iPod into the car stereo and singing along as a familiar song came on. Words and melodies had calmed him down ever since he was a little kid. He'd been playing guitar for years, and it had become a part of him almost as much as sleeping and breathing were. He started to tap his fingers against the wheel in the way that he always did when he got into the music, breathing the words of the song under his breath, getting louder until he was practically yelling them. Getting really loud helped calm the boy down, somehow. He dragged out the notes obnoxiously, feeling his normal self returning quickly. He breathed a sigh of relief, his ever present, relaxed smile returning to his face. The boy was always a bundle of energy and joy, it was nearly impossible to find him upset, or unwilling to go out and have fun. This, though, was due to the fact that Chase had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which wasn't really the best thing. A lot of the time, he forgot to take his medicine, because he was a naturally scatterbrained person. However, he had been sure to take it this morning, so he wouldn't freak out Dakota or anything. So as he pulled up to the fair grounds, the sun shining in his eyes, he was feeling slightly more demure than he ever really had in his life. He didn't know if this would work out positively or negatively for him. Sure, his head was clear, and he could think straight, but most people liked him for his crazy, hyper personality. Hopefully, Dakota wouldn't realize his difference today, or at least not mind. He didn't want her to think that he wasn't interested or anything. To be honest, he didn't really know if he was. Dakota was pretty, nice, fun to be with. But whenever something even slightly romantic happened, he found himself wishing that it was happening with Carlie instead.
He pulled into the fair grounds as the song he was listening to ended, and pulled the key out of the ignition. He sat there for a moment, looking towards the sun and taking deep breaths. Finally, he gathered his stuff, slipped some sunglasses onto his face, and slid out of his Nissan, giving it a pat before locking it and stepping over to the stone bench outside the entry that he said he would meet Dakota at. She didn't appear to have arrived yet, but Chase didn't mind waiting. He sat down heavily, and started to tap his feet against the ground, the song from earlier still stuck in his head. After a few minutes of tapping and waiting, he got bored and decided he would be gentlemanly and just buy their tickets before she got there. He stepped up to the ticket window and slid the woman behind it a twenty dollar note. "Two adult tickets please, ma'am." Chase had always been polite, it was kind of a second nature to him. Sure, he spent most of his days skating with his mates and being crude, but the second he was around girls or people older than him, he was a perfect little gentleman. He received the tickets, thanked the woman with one of his charming smiles, and dragged his feet back to the bench where he had been sitting earlier.

maybe i know somewhere deep in my soul that loveNEVER LAST AND WE'VE GOT TO FINDother ways to make it alone or keep a straight face
------Dakota Johnson was normally the girl that could be found wandering Sydney. That was just how she was. Sure, having been her near six months, you would think the girl would be used to the sights and just the overall rush that she got from wandering around Sydney. It never got old for her. She loved exploring, seeing everything. It was all so different from what she was used to. Plus, she loved hearing the Australian accents of people already there. They were extremely amazing. She hoped to be able to pull off an amazing one by the time she left Sydney, if that was ever the case. She dearly hoped not, though. The thought made her sad. She’d already made a ton of friends, and she was sure that she wouldn’t want to have to worry about missing her friends. One of those said friends was Chase Austyn. Somehow after they had met in a random way, they had decided, once phone numbers were exchanged and random text messages were sent to the other, they had decided to hang out at the fair grounds for a day. All he had really needed to do was say fair grounds, and Dakota would have found herself bouncing for the chance to go. She was such a little kid at times, her father was still amazed that she was managing living on her own.
------She honestly loved chase. He was the little brother she wished she had, but at the same time, not. He was just adorable, she had to admit, and not just in a younger brother sort of way. At least she was sure. Up until the age of fifteen or sixteen, flirting was something Dakota would have needed a guide book for. She knew nothing on it; not when she was being flirted with, or when she was flirting with someone. It had all just kind of come to her as she grew up away from her brothers and had made actual friends, guys and girls, and it just sort of came out. At the moment, she was assuming safely that, yes, there had undoubtedly been flirting between the two. She could have been right, or she could have been so awfully wrong. She didn’t know which was worse. She hadn’t really ever been in any sort of relationship, and she knew that that was what usually came along with it. But she wasn’t going to worry about that now. Instead, she decided to finally actually focus on the road. Driving wasn’t exactly easy when your mind was reoccupied, she learned that the hard way a year and a half ago.
------Honestly, Dakota wasn’t sure which way was the fair grounds. She had gone on a whim of which way by what Jordan and Casey had told her, and she was going on that lead. But after driving around for about fifteen minutes without the necessary signs that Jordan and Casey had given her, she decided to give up and ask for directions. Pulling up into a gas station, she rolled her window down, trying to get the attention of the woman looking in her general direction, pointing directions to someone else. Sighing, she waited, tapping her free foot against the floor until finally the man that had kept the woman busy left. Waving obnoxiously, she smiled a relieved grin as the woman came over. “Excuse me, ma’am. Can you tell me the way to the fair grounds?” she asked in her nicest voice, hoping the woman would think her genuinely nice and just not just sucking up. Thankfully, the woman’s face remained rather neutral as she pointed out the way to go, telling her to travel another fifteen minutes before she would arrive at the fair grounds. Thanking her profusely, she rolled her window up again, waving to the woman as she pulled out of the gas station and started driving again, this time with a better chance of getting somewhere. Thank you, old lady, she thought to herself as she noted the sign that told her that the fair grounds were half a mile away on the next left turn.
------She was excited, there was no doubting that. As she got closer to the fair grounds after that left turn, she felt herself grinning, wanting to just get out of the car right then and there. Well she would have, if parking didn’t need to be done. She tried to find a parking spot close enough to the main entrance of the fair grounds, but it seemed they were not the only ones who had decided to come to the fair grounds today. She could already see the vast amount of vehicles parked, and she could hear laughter, chatter, whatever other sounds humans made when they were happy from the park. But she found a spot that was sort of concealed by a pick up truck from the side, and it was decently close. It wouldn’t take long to walk to the main entrance. She was already late as is, she didn’t want to be even later because of her inability to find a parking spot close enough. Pulling in, she quickly pulled her key out of the ignition after a few failures. She was still surprised she had her license; for her struggles of getting her key out of the ignition and parallel parking still, she was surprised her instructor and the guy who tested her had trusted her with a license.
------Stepping out of the vehicle quickly, she ran a hand over her hair, her fingers ruffling her bangs lightly as she walked. Whenever she was nervous, or feeling any emotion similar to that, she had that habit. No wonder her hair often looked weird by the end of the day. She’d have to work on it. Walking at as fast a pace as she could without running, she neared the main entrance, all ready to get the tickets and such. She even had her wallet pulled out. But, as she glanced up and her green eyes caught sight of the eighteen year old that she was meeting at the fair grounds, she decided against it. Well, since he did have two tickets in his hand. “I’m so sorry I’m late!” she said to him, projecting her voice slightly as she neared him at her quickened pace. Stopping next to him, she stood still, looking down at him. She was sure she was not going to sit; she liked feeling tall. It was a feeling she so rarely experienced, and loved those moments where she could just as easy feel tall compared to somebody. But that was not to last. Leaning down, she gave him a hug, typical of her to give him. “So, so, so! Are you excited?” she said rather simply as she stood on her feet, rocking slightly. Anyone that didn’t know her should have been able to tell that she was excited for this. Partly for the fair, partly because she got to hang out with one of her best friends.
